ANRA Technologies, a commercial drone platform and service provider, wants to help commercial drone operators and businesses better manage their operations. The company recently introduced DroneOSS 2.0, an end to end open drone operations and data management solution.
“Drones are becoming more than just a recreational tool. It is becoming something that enables a lot of different applications, different verticals; and it is not so much about the drone anymore. But it is more about the data, the application, the mission management around the drone. You need something that handles the end to end operations,” said Amit Ganjoo, founder and CEO of ANRA Technologies in a video.

DroneOSS provides operations with an operational platform that enables quick, safe and secure inspections, surveys and data images and video footage capture. It provides a cloud-based platform, mobile operator software, fleet management, cloud storage, flight planning tools and data services, and data sharing capabilities. “It orchestrates the whole workflow right from flight planning, autonomous execution, traffic management, data collection, data analytics and enterprise integration. Being an open system, it does not matter what drone you use or what analytics engine is needed for you vertical specific needs. It all gets integrated into the workflow,” Ganjoo said.
In addition, it is designed to support swarming drones, and it allows operators to control one or hundreds of drones across various geographical areas, Ganjoo explained.
“Using our platform, you can be flying a drone in California while sitting in your office in Washington D.C.,” he said in the video. “Our company is focused around the three pillars around commercial drone applications. The first pillar would be mission management, then you have data management and traffic management.”
