Automate your Drone Data with FlytBase’s Drone-API as a Service

FlytBase plans to bridge the drone data gap with its Drone-API as a Service, connecting drones to common platforms like SAP, DroneDeploy, Pix4D, Instagram, YouTube, Salesforce and more.

Normal Internet of Things devices produce a small amount of data. This is not the case with drones where a simple 20-minute flight can result in gigabytes of image or video data. FlytBase’s platform will help manage data to and from drones with a custom-built protocol and connect UAVs to cloud-based business applications in real-time.

“We are moving towards an era of Internet of Drones (IoD). FlytBase is excited to offer industry’s first platform to help developers quickly build and deploy customized IoD solutions?, says Founder and CEO of FlytBase, Nitin Gupta.

The RESTful API will provide easy integration with third party services, and FlytBase is promising real time access to drone control, telemetry, and payload data. The platform is fault tolerant and will be able to deal with the variable-bandwidth transfer of data over 4G/LTE, WiFi, and etc.
