Full-Day Policy Session Designed for UAV Professionals to Navigate Current and Future Regulatory Landscape
NEW YORK ? July 31, 2019 ? InterDrone, the annual drone educational conference and vendor exposition, announced today it has further expanded its content with the addition of a Policy Day session on Tuesday, September 3rd. An all-day event, Policy Day will be a series of in-depth discussions exploring some of the major policy and regulatory issues facing service providers and end-users. InterDrone, which is the largest dedicated international commercial drone event in North America, will be held September 3 ? 6 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas and is expected to draw more than 5,000 UAV professionals from around the world.
Designed for service providers, enterprise operators and public service agencies who are responsible for planning and managing operations, Policy Day will offer guidance on navigating through legal noise to ensure successful safe and compliant flight operations. Topics to be covered include:
- Protecting your rights and understanding your obligations
- Getting along with the FAA and other regulators
- The state of CUAS. What can be done by private and public entities to protect critical infrastructure and public events
- The latest updates on the upcoming Remote-ID rule making
- Securing waivers for complex drone operations
