The InterDrone 2019 Call for Speakers is Open
Speak at InterDrone, September 3 – 6, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas!
We are currently seeking proposals for:
• 60-minute sessions
• Two-part, 120-minute sessions
• Half (2 hours and 15 minutes) and full-day workshops (4 hours and 30 minutes)
• Panelists for pre-determined panel topics.
InterDrone kicks off on Tuesday morning, September 3, and will have 4 jam-packed days of workshops, sessions and panels.
In your panel spot proposal, please include the following:
• Which panel(s) you wish to be on.
• Your bio of 125–150 words, with a summary of your teaching expertise. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• Your hi-res digital headshot.
In your session proposal, please include the following:
• The proposed title of your class. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• A description of 150 – 300 words. The more detail you provide, the better. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• Explain what prerequisite skills or knowledge should be expected.
• Your bio of 125–150 words, with a summary of your teaching expertise. We reserve the right to change it to our style.
• Your hi-res digital headshot.
Also identify which track AND level your session falls into:
• Business
• Cinema and Photo
• Construction, Aggregates and Mining
• Development and Hardware
• Inspection (Infrastructure or Energy)
• Precision Agriculture
• Public Safety (Also indicate which sector: Law Enforcement, SAR, or Fire)
• Surveying and Mapping
Level descriptions for guidance:
Overview: These sessions will cover fundamental topics and offer a high-level, basic view of the content at hand. No prior experience or knowledge is expected as lessons taught will be introductory. Examples will be shown, where appropriate.
Intermediate: Some prior experience and knowledge will be expected for these sessions. How things work, capabilities, and recommendations will be made. Demos and examples will be shown, where appropriate.
Advanced: Deep familiarity with the topic will be required for a full understanding of the material. Content will cover a walkthrough of an entire process, what does a deliverable look like and how to deliver it. Demos and examples will be shown, where appropriate.
**The classes are not an opportunity for a sales pitch, but rather a time to teach attendees practical, actionable skills.
