InterDrone, the next destination for commercial drones, has revamped the conference agenda by launching five co-located events, covering five of the largest and most dynamic verticals within the commercial drone space.
The InterDrone 2020 program’s five co-located events will include:

- UAS First Responder Summit
- Inspection Drone ? Energy & Infrastructure
- Drone Nexus ? Business, Policy, and Imagine
Each event will offer deep dives into industry verticals within the commercial drone space, delivering dynamic discussions and debates, and addressing the pain points and friction around some of the largest segments in the industry.
Keynote presentations, networking events, workshops, and the expo hall will create opportunities for industry participants to learn from each other across industry verticals and make the necessary connections to drive business.

Keenan Newton
Keenan Newton has over 14 years of experience with unmanned aircraft systems. Keenan owns and is a pilot for Skyora, LLC, an aerial imagery services company. Keenan is a Lieutenant, EMT, Engineer, Instructor and UAS Coordinator for the Lynwood Fire Department. Keenan is involved with developing and guiding UAS public safety best practices, guidance and policy at the local and state levels as the UAS Committee Co-Chair for the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System of Illinois (MABAS-IL). He has dealt with multiple facets of the fire service industry to not only include operations but education and active participation in advocating safe practices in the fire service and public safety UAS operations. Keenan also has a technology background that includes 8 years working for Microsoft. Keenan’s multifaceted experiences make him a unique asset to any organization that strives for both safety and efficiency in UAS initiatives. Keenan has also authored articles and a book for the technology sector and co-authored a white paper for the fire service on UAS for the NFPA. As well as hosts a podcast called Saving Lives With Drones on the safe and efficient use of drones in the public safety sector. Keenan is an active speaker around the country speaking and advocating public safety UAS at conferences such as InterDrone, DJI Airworks, and the National Public Safety UAS Conference.
Jillian Switzer
Jillian Switzer is Director of Marketing at AirMap, the leading digital airspace and automation company serving the drone economy, where she leads product marketing for the company’s UTM and U-space offerings and oversees the company’s brand, communications, and event marketing programs. Prior to AirMap, Jillian spent 5 years at Google, where she helped build out the global inside sales process for Google Maps for Business. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration and M.B.A. in Information Systems from Fordham University in New York City. She frequently participates in panels and lectures about drones and technology for Women and Drones, General Assembly, Women in Aviation International, Women in Transportation International, and others. Having received her part 107 remote pilot rating, Jillian is driven by a passion for helping define how disruptive technologies shape our world.
Andy Thurling
Andy Thurling is Chief Technology Officer NUAIR, technical manager for the New York UAS Test Site, where he leads technical research on current and future UAS technologies, evaluates potential paths to implementation, industry standards for approval by regulators, and test techniques to verify compliance. Before NUAIR, Andy was Director of Product Safety and Mission Assurance at AeroVironment in Simi Valley, California. At AeroVironment, Andy led airworthiness, certification, and airspace access strategic efforts. He is active in standards bodies such as ASTM and RTCA and internationally with EUROCAE and as a UAS subject matter expert to the JARUS working group developing the Specific Operational Risk Assessment process and the ICAO Trust Framework Study Group. Andy is a Distinguished Graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School. He has held several positions as a test pilot and as an instructor at the Test Pilot School. His career in the Air Force culminated as Commander of the Flight Test Squadron responsible for testing the nation’s newest unmanned aircraft. Andy has over 2300 hours of flight time in more than 35 aircraft types and was awarded the 2011 AUVSI “Operations Award? for leading the flight testing of the liquid Hydrogen powered Global Observer.
Dawn M.K. Zoldi
Dawn M.K. Zoldi (Colonel, USAF, Retired) is a licensed attorney, a 25-year Air Force veteran and the founder and CEO of P3 Tech Consulting, connecting people and their advanced tech platforms with full-spectrum policy-relevant information. She is an internationally recognized expert on unmanned aircraft system law and policy, and a recipient of the Woman to Watch in UAS (Leadership) Award 2019.
